If you've never had a massage before you may be unsure what to expect during your first visit to Coyote Creek Massage & Wellness. Your Licensed Massage Therapist will greet you in the reception room and guide you to the massage studio where you will feel welcomed and relaxed as soon as you walk in.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Once here, you will sit down with your practitioner who will then go over your health history; any past or present injuries or any other physical concerns that might affect treatment. If there is a specific area or challenge upon which you'd like us to focus we will discuss it before getting started. Your health history is extremely important to your therapist because the treatment can change depending on a variety of conditions.
For example, if you have recently taken and anti-inflammatory drug, you may not feel the same level of pain as you would normally feel. In this case, your therapist will need to adjust pressure levels accordingly to avoid excess pain during your treatment and the days following.
Massage oils or creams are often used during your treatment. If you have a sensitivity to scents or specific oils it is helpful to share this information with your therapist. At any point you can tell the therapist what you are comfortable with and what areas they do not have your consent to treat. At this time and throughout your treatment, ask any questions you may have and if there is anything your therapist didn't ask you about but you feel they should know, make sure to tell them.
WHAT TO WEAR DURING YOUR APPOINTMENT
During future visits your practitioner will ask about any changes, further tailoring your experience to you.
Once your healthy history and concerns have been addressed, your practitioner will ask you to dress down to your comfort level and
Whether you're here for a relaxing experience or for medical purposes, your comfort is important to us.
At Coyote Creek we believe that communication is high importance, and we encourage you to share your feedback freely.
